JLN-370 Natural Non-Reinforced Water Activated Gummed Paper Tape
JLN-370 non-reinforced water-activated tape is an environmentally friendly product. Its backing material and Adhesive are non-polluting and can be recycled along with the packaging materials. It is mainly used as a sustainable alternative to pressure-sensitive Adhesive tapes for carton sealing applications.

JLN-370 standard water activated tape is a sustainable packaging solution for lightweight logistics scenarios. The product utilizes 100% virgin kraft paper backing and bio-based starch adhesives without fiber reinforcement. This tape serves as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic tapes for e-commerce, light industrial, and office packaging applications.
The tape is manufactured from 100 percent virgin kraft paper and plant-based starch adhesives. Full biodegradability and compostability are core attributes. This product satisfies plastic reduction mandates in the European Union and North America. Complete recyclability is achieved within existing cardboard processing streams without separation requirements.
Starch adhesive forms hydrogen bonds with corrugated fibers upon hydration. Any attempt to remove the tape causes visible fiber tear on the carton surface. This provides fundamental tamper-evident protection for standard logistics cycles. Seal integrity remains stable within -10°C to 50°C ambient temperature range.
Compatible with manual water brushes, electric dispensers, and automatic case sealers. Initial tack develops within 3-5 seconds after application. The adhesive demonstrates good wetting performance on lightly dusty or recycled paper surfaces. Clean cutting without fiber pull ensures consistent packaging appearance.
Can be used with JL3®'s self-developed water-activated tape dispenser and carton sealer. This ensures stable adhesive activation, improves packaging efficiency, and achieves sealing with a single strip, reducing material waste.
