Why Jialong Tape Covers Light Duty E-Commerce Sealing to Heavy Industrial Strapping in One Product System

A single logistics production line can handle both light e-commerce parcels and heavy-duty cardboard boxes without needing two separate tape suppliers. Water-activated kraft paper tapes, JLN-3140 and JLN-3150, are designed for light-duty single-layer corrugated cardboard boxes. JLN-3750 and JLN-3780 are for medium-duty applications of double-layer corrugated boxes. JLN-37120 is for heavy-duty industrial shipments.

JL3 also offers variants such as JLN-3150E, JLN-3150R and KN-37120R as customized engineering solutions tailored to different customer needs. Note that fiberglass-reinforced water-activated tape is not single-material, biodegradable or compostable: the fiberglass reinforcement is screened out at the paper mill during recycling.

For workstations lacking water activation equipment, self-adhesive kraft paper tape fills the gap. JLN-2740H uses hot melt adhesive; simply tear and press to seal the box, eliminating the need for wet equipment. JLN-28160 incorporates fiberglass reinforcement into self-adhesive tape, covering medium-sized box sealing applications, allowing production line workstations to use it without water activation dispensers.

Fiber tape addresses another type of need. Unidirectional fiberglass tape JLT-602 handles light bundling and securing. JLT-609 uses peelable synthetic rubber, leaving no residue for temporary securing of valuable items. JLT-5160 is reinforced with chemical fibers, used in bridge construction for securing reinforcing steel and structural steel; the fiber tape must absorb dynamic loads without breaking. JLT-695 uses acrylic adhesive that is heat-resistant up to 100 degrees Celsius. Synthetic rubber ages under heat in oil-immersed transformer bundling scenarios; this model is designed for continuous high-temperature environments.

Two-way fiber tape distributes the load across two axes. JLW-302A and JLW-2090 are both PET-based, two-way glass fiber reinforced tapes used for heavy-duty bundling and transport packaging, where the bundled object is subjected to multi-directional displacement forces. JLW-396FR uses a PE film base, acrylic adhesive, and glass cloth reinforcement, and is heat-resistant up to 100 degrees Celsius; this is a fire-resistant sealing tape for aviation cargo.

Double-sided fiber tape is used for bonding and temporary fixing. JLW-315 and JLW-316BG use acrylic adhesive with PET release film; they are used to fix panels and other adhesives during sports flooring installation, and then withstand the shear forces of foot traffic. JLW-313A uses synthetic rubber with glassine release paper, covering foam, rubber, non-woven fabrics, and door and window seals in building and automotive interiors.

Equipment selection, like the tape itself, impacts production line efficiency. The KN-366Hi electric water-activated tape dispenser, with a single roll capacity of 1400 feet, offers nine preset lengths (6–30 in) and three custom lengths for carton sealing lines. The KN-1721R fully automatic WAT carton sealing machine quickly determines the size of different cartons, performs bottom and top sealing, and is compatible with 38 mm and 76 mm (1.5 and 3-inch) tape widths.
